MPACT
The Mississippi Prepaid Affordable College Tuition Plan (MPACT) allows families to lock in tuition rates and prepay their child's tuition and fees.
MPACT guidelines
Applications must be submitted every semester by the 15-day drop date. Applications submitted after the drop date of the semester will be denied.
If you have questions regarding your MPACT balance/available funds, MPACT benefits, MPACT contract, or what charges MPACT covers, please contact MPACT by phone at 1 (800) 987-4450 or visit the MPACT website.
How to apply
- Open your internet browser, navigate to UMMC Workday, and log in using your UMMC credentials.
- Type “Create Request” in the Workday search bar.
- Execute the "Create Request" task.
- Select “MPACT (Mississippi Prepaid Affordable College Tuition)" from the 'Request Type' field and select "OK" to continue.
- Complete the MPACT Billing Application Request and click "Submit" when complete.
The following documentation may be required:
- MPACT Matriculation Card, if available
Application timeline
Once the MPACT Billing Application Request is received, it is routed and reviewed by the Office of Student Accounting staff.
Approved MPACT applications are billed after the 15-day drop date (according to each school's Academic Calendar listed in the UMMC Bulletin). Payments are usually received in 4 to 6 weeks.
